The color is a rich, deep, and promisingly dark brown, and I’ve seen a significant boost in both feeding activity and growth in many species (D. grantii, D. tityus, M. oberthuri, M. ugandensis, C. nitida….; more details on experiments can be found on my Instagram bio @georgiabeetles)
DISCLAIMER:
If the flake smells when received, aerate by mixing regularly in a bigger container until the smell disappears before use. The flake should smell like wet, dewy forest floor. In the case of juvenile earthworms, freeze for 2-3 days.
